Brigade Court

Formerly a London Fire Brigade training centre, Brigade Court is an exceptional conversion project that transformed a historic operational building into high-quality residential apartments. The project required ironmongery that respected the building's industrial heritage while meeting the expectations of a premium London residential development.

Beaver specified a satin stainless steel package throughout, complementing the exposed brick and concrete interiors characteristic of the original structure. The access control system was integrated with a bespoke concierge entry solution appropriate for the scheme's security brief.

Brunel University — Isambard Complex

The Isambard Complex Student Village at Brunel University, designed by Stride Treglown Ltd, is a modern student accommodation campus providing a self-contained living environment across multiple interconnected blocks. Beaver produced a comprehensive ironmongery schedule covering all residential, communal, and academic spaces — balancing durability for high-traffic student use with the clean contemporary aesthetic of the architecture.

Key considerations included fire door compliance across all residential corridors, accessible washroom hardware throughout, and a cost-effective lever handle specification that would withstand intensive daily use without premature wear.

Beaver also supplied and specified the SALTO access control system throughout the complex, bringing keyless and mobile entry to the residential blocks. The site carries a notable legacy, having originally served as athletes’ accommodation during the London 2012 Olympic Games before its conversion to permanent student housing.

Granary Wharf

A landmark residential development in the heart of Leeds, Granary Wharf presented the full spectrum of ironmongery challenges: high-spec apartment entrance hardware, secure communal access control, and period-sympathetic fittings for the retained Victorian granary warehouses on the waterfront.

Our schedule covered over 400 individual door sets across the residential towers and the converted heritage buildings, specifying marine-grade stainless steel throughout to withstand the canal-side environment — while ensuring finishes remained consistent with the luxury positioning of the development. Delivery was phased to eliminate on-site storage requirements.

Royal Star & Garter

The Royal Star & Garter is a landmark Edwardian building of the highest architectural significance, converted into luxury retirement apartments. The ironmongery specification demanded an exceptional level of care: every item had to reflect the grandeur of the building's public spaces while delivering the accessibility and ease-of-use critical for the elderly residents who would call it home.

Polished brass ironmongery was specified throughout the communal areas, with lever-on-rose sets chosen for both aesthetic quality and ergonomic performance. All hardware was selected for full compliance with BS 8300 accessibility standards.

Revolut HQ

A flagship headquarters fit-out for one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech businesses, demanding a refined, hard-wearing ironmongery specification to match a high-profile workplace interior.
